Were Miller and Boyett a real-life couple? Variety says that Miller is survived by Boyett, his partner of 40 years. I’m assuming they mean a life partner, though I suppose it could mean business partner, too. Neither man is/was married to anyone else.

Wow Thomas Miller has done a great work of producing shows from the past. Will be missed, RIP.

Thomas Miller was actually born in 1940, not 1941.

It just seems like only a few years ago I was seeing the shows when in production. Times goes so fast and we see Tom dying at 79.

I just saw in another thread Mr. Miller died....oh wow. I’m actually sad, Miller-Blyett produced some of my favorite sitcoms. Perfect Strangers, Family Matters, Step By Step. Full House, Fuller House and Happy Days were among them. They did fantastic work, he’ll be missed! Condolences to Mr. Boyett and all of his colleagues/friends. These two guys have had very long, successful lives doing what they loved. We should all be doing the same instead of jobs we hate going to every day.

You never knew that a sitcom was gonna be good with Thomas Miller/Robert Boyett being listed in the end credits of popular sitcoms and when Thomas Miller and Robert Boyett teamed up and created Miller/Boyett Productions they knew that they would become household names in TV production companies. And so without Thomas Miller we would've never been introduced to characters such as Laverne And Shirley Fonzie Steve Urkel and the Tanner family from Full House and actors would've not gotten their starts on Miller/Boyett sitcoms such as Jason Bateman from The Hogan Family the Olsen twins from Full House and Jaleel White from Family Matters. Thomas Miller was a sitcom genius and it's no secret that every Miller/Boyett sitcom became a smash hit due to the Miller/Boyett name
