Father Knows Best takes place in Springfield, in an unknown state. It is most likely Illinois, based on references to Chicago, Rockford, etc.
Also isn't there an animated show in Springfield. Maybe the Simpsons? |

Anyone know where the Stones lived in Donna Reed Show, the Douglases in My Three Sons or the Mitchells in Dennis?

I know, I know!
The Stones lived in Hilldale. And on Dennis, they never mentioned the town, but based on the Dennis crossover to Donna Reed, we could assume the same place. The Douglases started out in fictional Bryant Park, and ended up in the L.A. suburbs. |

Without looking it up does anyone know if the Simpsons were in Springfield? I never watched it (or any of those other stupid, current animated shows) but I see stuff in crossword puzzles sometimes.

Definitely Springfield. I’ll catch The Simpsons ever now and again and after some 25 years on the air it is still consistently hilarious.

Just to clarify I wasn't saying the Simpsons was stupid, since I don't watch it. I'm judging by that show on TBS with the fat guy, and the wise guy little kid. Hang on--looking up the name 'cause I'm sure it's still on. My TV Guide isn't re-loaded yet but I think it's Family Guy.
