Default I Really Want to Revisit This Show

I always enjoyed this show when it aired, but never really revisited it once it left syndication.the only character I can’t stand is Schneider, who I find REALLY ANNOYING. Found a good # of S2& S3 eps on YT. Just finished watching the first 2 eps in the four-parter where Julie runs away with her guy. Will watch the last two later. Right now I want to call some friends and check up on them.

I also found Schneider to be SUPER ANNOYING!! I never understood why in the world Ann would allow him to use his pass key and walk into their home at any time. If I was Ann, I would be threatening to call the cops, and I would have told him to get lost a long time ago!

In season 9, Ann's new husband, Sam is so fed up with Schneider that he throws his pass key out the window!

The worst instance (season 1, don’t remember the specific episode) is not the front door, but when he just opens the girl’s bedroom door and walks in when everyone is in there.

Schneider using his pass key or entering rooms without knocking was just part of the humor of the show, that's the way his character was written, the scripts called for him to be a nosy snoop and that's exactly what he was.

As he became more and more a beloved trusted member of the family, that aspect of him really should have been phased out. But I guess Ann knew not to do her nude stretching exercises in the living room.

You’re welcome for the images I just put in your head

I agree Schneider's antics grew a little tiresome as the seasons went along.

Visioning cutie pie Ann in her birthday suit sounds good to me, especially the longer haired Ann from the early seasons.

I would need to see a good portion of the shows to feel differently about him. Now that I think about it, he’s why I haven’t ever considered revisiting the show. I find him so annoying I want to throw tomatoes at him!

I don't recommend that. Schneider doesn't know it's happening, so in the end you just end up wrecking your TV and vegetable supply.

You're watching The Runaways right now, right? That arc contains some big moments in his metamorphosis to friend.

I agree with you 100%. There are so many times that I just want someone to say "Shut up, Schneider"!
