The R&B singer says he not only co-wrote the May 4 episode of the TBS animated comedy, but he'll also play himself.

The Canadian singer has been a devoted fan of American Dad! since he was in high school. "American Dad! was everything I wanted," he says of appearing in Monday's episode. "It’s going to be hard to beat this in the TV cartoon world, but an obvious bucket list would be to work on The Simpsons. That would be a dream — and if they’re reading this, I actually have a pretty cool idea if they’re down."
