In 1991 Disney released a tribute album of Disney songs called Simply Mad About The Mouse and it was a good album of Disney songs sung by popular artists ranging from Michael Bolton Bobby McFerrin and Ric Ocasek. But the lead single from this album was Billy Joel's fun version of When You Wish Upon A Star which had an amazing video to match featuring an animator bringing an animated version of Billy Joel to life. Simply Mad About The Mouse also had a accompanying VHS tape containing all the videos to the songs including the earlier mentioned Billy Joel video for When You Wish Upon A Star. This album is out of print but hopefully Simply Mad About The Mouse gets rereleased again on CD in the future

Hi, Bestie! Ye that is a great collection of Disney songs by great artists. They should re-release it! Bu I bet you like it mostly because of the "Innocent Man". LOL

In addition to VHS, the special was also released on LaserDisc.

Here's Harry Connick Jr singing "The Bare Necessities" from that album. I wish they would release it on DVD too. I'd like to see it again.
