Yes, Mary Ann Mobley played Miss Osborne, Arnold's teacher. I read on Wikipedia that Mobley auditioned for the role of Maggie but she was rejected because she was too old for Conrad Bain. I never understood this, because Mobley and Dixie Carter (1st Maggie) were born in the same year.
