Don't look for wonder years on tv - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Here's some bad news...I was told that
ABC Family currently owns the broadcast rights to WY.
They have NO plans to broadcast the show.
It is possible for a network to "sit" on a show, and
it appears they are going to do just that.
I was told they own the rights for a "couple" of years.
Better keep those VHS tapes safe.
I hope to update soon with more info.....

I agree that WY is one of those shows that really needs to be shown. It's one of my all -time faves. Why doesn't ABC Family take off that stupid Mary Kate/Ashley show? There's no point to it except for thsoe Olsen twins to make even more money on top of the billions they already have. I think the Olsen twins quit the show, but it'll probably still be played for the next 5 years just so they can get more money.

I agree with everything you just said. The Olsen twins have had some many shows that lasted like one season and all of them are pretty much the same!
