Default What's with these Hershey's commercial?

A few minutes ago I saw the Hershey's commercial that features Supertramp's hit song Give A Little Bit and I can't figure out why this commercial is popular? Is it because Hershey's hopes to show more of a family image and helping out in the community by giving chocolate bars to charities? I have noticed that this commercial is overplayed way too much and Hershey's should have a different commercial

Hi, Bestie! Hershey's is famous for being given to people as a gesture of American charity. In WWII soldiers would give them to starving victims of the Nazis. I wish more people would do that. That is what America used to be.

I'll certainly grant that it's overplayed. Glad you mentioned it's Supertramp--I'd forgotten the group.

I also appreciate the "real" song vs. that drug company commercial that has a horrible redo of a Fleetwood Mac song, Go Your Own Way.

I actually saw the Hershey's commercial on Antenna TV awhile ago.

That may be the first ad on there for a real product (just kidding, but they have so few).
