Is Jared trying something new?

Ever since Jared introduced their commercials last year with the acapella singers I seem to think that Jared is trying to become number one in jewelry store chains. Because based on the success of their holiday commercial they had a Valentine's Day commercial with the singers and it makes me think that this is a new way of selling jewelry to attract new customers to Jared. I have never seen so many commercials for Jared as much as I have for Kay Jewelers or any other jewelry store. I think Jared wants to compete with Kay Jewelers to get more people to buy jewelry by having good commercials
