Default So what's next, that 90s show?

Give me a break, is Hollywood running out of ideas?

Perhaps that is why we are left with crap like this show and the Osbournes!

Default that 90s show, osborns

That 80's show was complete crap. They try to force feed every little pop-culture thing about the 80's and turn it into a joke. "Thank you, Ronnie!"?--oh please. Anyway now they can attempt to do it again with That 90's show! Let's see they can force feed us MC Hammer, Desert Storm, The Bill Clinton/Lewinski scandle, hey they can even bring up, how TV shows were actually good in the 90's. That would be some bitter irony!

Now who says the osborns sucks? I think hearing Ozzy say, "mummaeucl *bleep* afjiammmbaSharronandln *bleeping*dogs *bleeping* alkndl the floor!" is real quality.

I hope that there is no 90's show because it's going to look like garbage left over from that 80's show. Let's just stick with that 70's show for now!

And if they MUST do a "90s Show'', I hope to God Almighty Above that they come up with a better title!! I mean, really..."That 70s Show", while unique, can only be done once....a a similar lack of imagination is what probably killed "That 80s Show". Lord knows "Oliver Beane" missed the bad title bullet!!

(An aside: Did you know that the original title foe "That 70s Show" was "Teenage Wasteland"? Hell, that was more appropriate to the situations, anyway...)

I think a "That 90's Show" would be a bad idea.

Although I wold love to see how many O.J. Simson jokes they could work in before cancellation.

I think "That 80's Show" had Potential that they didn't really give the show enough time to develop... The show could have been halfway decent if they had more focused, fine-toned, wrtitting instead of just jumping from one joke to another... They didn't really have any plot to the episodes and the characters were undefined and skecthy... They didn't give us any backstory of anything... Actually my friend and i used to laugh about it because for weeks we couldn't figure out where the mother was? they had never even explained that she had died. Anyway... i just think the show could have been halfway decent if given time to grow.. Also the thing that makes "That 70's Show" so special is the relathionship between the characters which they didn't have in "That 80's Show".

"That 90's show"? Haha! thats really quite a funny idea... I mean when you think about it, there was nothing any good about the 90's! Poor-looking cars, Desert Storm and everyone going crazy over Clinton's affair isn't TV Sitcom material. Personaly, I think if they were going to try and do something along the lines of "that 70's show" (which they will never be able to sucessfully do) it would be something in the 60's with Hippies or something... haha, that would be funny too!

They probably said the same thing about platform shoes and mood rings, but, here we are...

The big thing in the 70's was sex and drugs and liberation. There was the Watergate thing with Nixon in 1974, then SNL debuted in 1975 and they tried to see how far they could push the show with getting stuff past the censors. Then you had peoples' idea of decoration in the 70's. ORANGE, OLIVE GREEN, YELLOW, BROWN???????? What were they thinking?!?! The Vietnam War happened during the 70's, and people said nothing good about the 70's happened, but look what happened, they created a smash hit TV show based on the 70's!

I am not saying it would be a good idea to make "That 90's Show", it's not because at the moment, the end of the 90's was only four years ago so it's too soon to make one. I am just saying that each decade had its own bad stuff that happened.
