Season 3 Commercial The Good & Bad - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I've now been watching the commercial release of Season 3 the supposed un-remastered films. Well, I don't have a problem with the video quality itself, it seems sharp enough, has a film quality to it instead of a ultra sharp video quality but, I do have a bit of a problem with the sound or audio quality of these shows. I actually find myself listening closely to what they're saying as it is a bit muffled. Not terrible or unlistenable but not nearly the sharp and clear audio of Seasons 1 & 2.

I DO love the fact though that these are for the most part uncut. Saw another scene today from "Moment Of Truth" that I've never seen before. The scene cut but now seen shows Bub hanging laundry with clothespins attached to his shirt talking to Sudsy & Chip about vaudeville songs then it has Mike coming home from getting a date with a waitress and is happy telling the family about it. That whole scene was cut from TV edit versions, so happy to have these commercial releases for moments like these.

The season 3 set is pretty good. With season 4 and 5 they used MeTV edited masters on many episodes, which took out 30 seconds to a minute. Other episodes were full-length, so overall, it's better than any recording off TV. Just like season 3, a few episodes are 22+ minute syndicated length.
