Did the Daytona 500 get postponed due to rain? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Mom was watching the Daytona 500 today when a few minutes into the race Mom claimed that the drivers were complaining about driving in the rainy conditions. Mom kept checking FOX to see if the Daytona 500 was gonna come back but all she found were commercials and a repeat of last year's Daytona 500. Will FOX reschedule the race for tomorrow?

Hi, Bestie! At least it lasted long enough for our great President and first Lady to start the race. WOW! That was historic when He went around the track in the "Beast"!!

Did you hear about Ryan Reynolds's accident in the Daytona 500? I found it really shocking that his car hit the wall and had sparks coming out of it and from what I heard about it Ryan was in serious condition at the hospital but it's a relief that Ryan Reynolds is gonna be alright. At least Denny Hamlin deserved to win the race because he is so talented in NASCAR

His name is actually Ryan Newman, not Ryan Reynolds.

Oh. so thank you very much for the correction Mikaela. I got Ryan Newman confused with actor Ryan Reynolds because they are both named Ryan. At least I'm am so glad Ryan Newman has been released from the hospital and doing well in his recovery. I used to watch the Daytona 500 as a kid because it was very exciting to watch and occasionally I still watch NASCAR races sometimes. My favorite NASCAR driver is Chase Elliott because he shares the same name as my favorite GSN game show. At least with the exception of the wreck with Ryan Newman they managed to have a great race

I've been watching NASCAR for 40 years and it was legit the most devastating wreck I've ever seen. When the gas was pouring out of the tank right next to the open flames, I thought I was gonna crap my pants. No joke!
