Cohen was best known for playing Miranda's housekeeper on Sex and the City starting in Season 3. She was only supposed to appear in one episode, but ended up returning for the rest of the series and even appeared in both Sex and the City movies. In 2018, Cohen marked the 20th anniversary of the HBO comedy in an interview with Cosmopolitan. "There's nothing like Sex and the City," she said. "I've never done another show like that where I found a dildo. Although I'm still ready to find another dildo at another time!"

Cynthia Nixon pays tribute to Sex and the City Magda actress Lynn Cohen

Cohen, who played Miranda's housekeeper Magda on the HBO comedy, died Friday at age 86. "Many people knew & loved Lynn Cohen as Miranda’s stalwart Polish nanny Magda," tweeted Nixon. "To me she was that & so much more — an involved citizen, a true friend & a great actress in so many different roles. Here’s one of my favorites: Lynn as Golda Meir in Munich. I will miss her so much." ALSO: Sarah Jessica Parker also offered her condolences.
