Will Decades be available on Pluto TV? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don’t have Decades but I do have Pluto. I know Pluto has Buzzr but not Decades. I would like to know if Decades be available on Pluto? What about Cozi TV? Cozi Tv has an affiliate where I live but my cable system doesn’t carry it and I can’t pick it up with my antenna.

I would love Decades as well!

Although Pluto TV has a channel called Classic TV. It airs The Lucy Show & The Dick Van Dyke Show & Dennis the Menace & Flipper & The Jerry Lewis Show & The Dean Martin Show & The Little Rasicals & The Three Stooges & more but sadly like a lot of Pluto TV channels they air only a handful of the same episodes not the series.

Pluto TV also has a 24 hours 7 days a week The Addams Family Sitcom channel from the 1960’s.

I would love that as well since FIOS in Philly no longer carries it. Since both are owned by Viacom/CBS (and Weigel for Decades), I would hope that’s a possibility.

I dumped cable because my bill was $118 a month so I got a Smart TV and bought an antenna to supplement YouTubeTV. The antenna signal for Decades fades in and out and since I have the Pluto TV app it would be a great addition to the app.

Not sure if you have comcast in philly but they carry it

In the Philly area, Comcast has Decades from WDPN's subchannel, but Fios has FETV.

I emailed the station manager at WFMZ (that owns WDPN), and he said that the station has tried to get Decades carried on Fios, but Fios refused. I didn't ask but I wonder if WFMZ/WDPN would charge per subscriber, or if it is completely free for FIOS.

Decades moved to Fox owned stations' subchannel in many markets. Philly was not included but it would be a lot better if WTXF 29 carried Decades on a subchannel, as it is a lot easier receiving the WTXF signal than the signal of WDPN with rabbit ear antenna. I don't think Pluto would carry it, as it would duplicate coverage agreement from the Foxstations in many markets. But, I sure wish it was carried on Pluto TV just like Buzzr.

I think so. I get the guide data for the channel on my Sling, as I have a cancelled Sling subscription to AirTV with antenna. Signal strength of the channel is weak though.

Thanks, but we have FIOS. Which is generally fine, and we do get most of the “digi-net” channels - Cozi, Antenna, MeTV, FeTV, Comet, Movies, Heroes, and Retro. We had Decades when it first aired but lost it when it became a Weigert station. We also have Folk TV most of the day, although Korean music videos seem to be the over-night fare.

Becca or anyone in Philly area, if you try with an antenna, you might be able to get Decades.

You will need one that is low VHF capable. WDPN is on VHF 2.

Just an FYI- Decades was replaced last year in Denver metro with Starttv, It is now back with a new affiliate KZDN channel 26-2 as of March 1st.
