Default How many GI episodes featured a dream sequence?

And were these episodes more common in the third season?

I don't know but those dream sequences were hilarious & one of the best parts of the show because it was good to get away from the island sometimes.

Were there any dream sequence episodes during the first season?

There were dream sequences. The third season had the most dream sequences (six).

I haven't counted how many episodes have a dream sequence, but the only character never to have a dream sequence was Ginger. All the others did.

Interesting.

Maybe Ginger needed her beauty sleep and couldn't be interrupted.

Or maybe Ginger's dreams were too daring for a 1960's primetime sitcom!

Would "Diogenes, Won't You Please Go Home?" from season 1 episode 31 with Ginger and the Japanese sailor be considered a dream sequence rather than a fantasy sequence? After all, she did dream it up in her mind. Just wondering.

But she was awake so that doesn't count.
