Default Where's Ursula??

In the past few weeks, I have been watching the new Mad About You reboot and I have noticed that it isn't much different than the old classic version except that Paul and Jamie's daughter Mabel is now in college, Cousin Ira owns his own restaurant and they have a different dog. They also added a few familiar recurring characters from the old series which was a nice touch except they left out my favorite one. For some reason, which deeply disappoints me, Lisa Kudrow has not returned to play the hilarious Ursula Buffay, the nutty waitress at the former restaurant where Paul and Jamie ate, also better known as Phoebe's twin sister from "Friends". I believe that either she was busy doing other projects or she simply wasn't asked, and that is a real shame! Whatever the reasons, I hope they can correct this horrible oversight in time for next season if there is one. Why can't Ursula work at Ira's diner? That would be a lot of fun to watch. I hope I'll be able to see it soon.

That is all very interesting! I am not fortunate enough to have the service that this reboot plays off of. I understand that they built into the story that Paul's father died because the actor who plays him really did die. Have they shown Paul's mother yet? I liked her a lot. Is there any mention as to what happened to Buckman's Sporting Good Store? On top of that, I understand that Mark is supposed to be divorced from Fran and remarried to somebody new. Is Mark's son Ryan still in the picture? I really hope that I get to see it someday!

Here we see ponytailed Ursula, as played by lovely Lisa Kudrow.

My niece has the complete Friends series on DVD, so sometime I'll borrow that from her and enjoy seeing Phoebe.
Anyway, on to Lisa on Mad About You.

Looking very nice in profile, with her hair pulled back in a scrunchie. Lisa's high ponytail reveals very good length
and the color is pretty. Cute dangling earrings and a great jacketed outfit:

Here in another view from the same scene, long strands are framing Lisa's face in an attractive way.
Her forehead is otherwise uncovered. Nice smile, I love her look:

In a different scene, here we see Lisa has quite long bangs - but they
are wispy and don't overpower. She's wearing an attractive v-neck sweater
with a tasteful necklace. Really a stunningly pretty face is captured here:

Some fantastic large images. Wonderful long, straight hair with flat, blunt-cut ends. Lisa is quite a beautiful woman:

I will agree that Lisa is a very beautiful woman. So far, I have seen four episodes of the reboot. Her character has not appeared so far. I am very anxious to find out if she eventually shows up!

Lisa Kudrow was born the same years as this show's Helen Hunt. I find it amazing that, during the coming year, both babes will be 60-years-old! By the way, at this point, I have seen all 12 episodes of the reboot of this show. Ursula has not appeared and was never even mentioned. It is too bad that this reboot only last for one season. It was two years after Lisa started in the role of Ursula Buffay that she became known to the world as Phoebe Buffay from "Friends". I have done the research and found that she is the oldest member of the regular cast of that series. It will probably be tomorrow that I post a message on that show's page pointing out that the oldest babe on that series will be turning 60 in less than a year. I think that, as a tribute that this thread, I will called it "The Nutty Waitress"!

I love Ursula and Phoebe ! It is almost like they are two different people ! I mean I know they are both Lisa Kudrow, and even though Phoebe and Ursula ate identical twins , they somehow look a little different!

Kind of like Patty Duke ! Patty Lane and Cathy Lane were identical but different !

I love them both too! I would say that they are better, funnier, and better looking than Patty Duke.
