Almost by chance Benny Hill became popular in the US,
quite late in life...
I read somewhere that Benny used to make about 4 shows per year...

If he had been American that figure would have been more like 52 shows per year

What a funny show! I'd kind of forgotten it. Those sped up video chase scenes are hilarious. And the British are way more bawdy than we are over here.

I remember watching his show. There's also a British guy named Dave Allen I recall watching years ago.

I'm gonna have to check Amazon to see if Hill is available.

I always liked it when Benny would pat that old bald guy on top of the head in fast speed. That and the bikini girls, oh yeah, that too.
