Default Ward rips Eddie, what episode?

The scene takes place in Wally & Beaver's bedroom. Wally and Eddie were talking, I believe Beaver was there too but I'm not sure. Anyway, Eddie was making another one of his sarcastic cracks regarding parents when Ward enters the room suddenly. It's obvious he overheard Eddie's remarks. Eddie does his usual smarmy backpedaling, but this time Ward loses his cool.

He says, in a stern angry voice, "Eddie, I want to tell you something" and was just about to continue when Wally ( out of Eddie's line of sight ) motions/gestures to Ward in a way to imply "I know you're angry, but please don't" and Ward lets it go. After Ward leaves, Wally gives Eddie what-for.

I can usually remember the episodes pretty well, but I can't place this one.

It was in season 4, Eddie’s Double-Cross. Ward was in the bathroom and overheads Eddie’s remark (I think phony tax deduction? )

Yeah, they're (the three Cleaver guys) collecting clothes and stuff for charity, I think. Ward goes into the bathroom to look for something, and Eddie enters, unaware "the warden" is lurking. After Wally tells him what they're doing, Eddie makes a comment about phony tax deductions, and Ward comes back in, having overheard it. Eddie does some fast talking, and it goes on like you outlined.

Thanks for the fast responses! I liked that moment because it's the first time Ward reacts to Eddie rather than doing a slow burn.

I also just noticed I misspelled: Should have said loses his cool, not "looses".

Right, and later in Beaver's Report Card, he really let Eddie have it.

Welcome, Cx! By the way, you can edit your own post and correct spelling, if you want to. I type too fast and have to go in and do that a lot.

Also Ward is furious to know Eddie and Lumpy dumped his trash on a vacant lot. He walks right into the bedroom and Eddie almost levitates off the bed. He almost argues with Ward about cleaning up the lot. Ward and June let Eddie get away with a lot. I like when Eddie wants to call some girls and pretend to be talent scouts. June appears from the study. Eddie reminds Wally they have to study. June assumes now he won’t be using the phone.

There is a time when Eddie actually insults Ward and June. I think it’s in our favorite episode Chuckie’s New Shoes.

Right, Ward and June are running out the door to pick Beaver up at the shoe store, and Eddie is coming in, and both W&J are rude to him.

Later W&J apologize, and Eddie says it wasn't his day, and he tries to make allowances for the way people are. After he leaves they kind of wake up to the fact that Eddie indirectly insulted them.

That’s the line. At least they were rude to him especially June “Ha” after Eddie says it’s a lovely day.
