The Merchant Marine.
June was so snoopy in this one. If they were giving out awards for being nosy she’d win hands down. Constantly finding all those letters. Wally looked about 20 and being blasted by his father for missing dinner. Get the guy a cell phone. Did you notice Wally missed dinner but June washed 4 plates so who ate with them? Andy Hadlock? |

I was noticing Beaver wasn't doing much drying. Maybe the back of a plate once in awhile.
Wally also told Beaver Ward replied not to give him any back talk. Doesn't sound like something Ward would say. Fred actually saved this episode. Typically the blowhard. Liked him in the scene in the den. Trying to restrain himself when Lumpy asked for the car keys back. Funny! |

Right Fred the Skinhead did save it as well as the Lump. Didn’t Fred yell “Lumpy get out here?”

Right, Fred and Lumpy.
Lumpy also saved Beaver the Bunny with all his one liners about Beaver's costume, then telling June he looked stunning. Yeah, I think he yelled, Clarence, get out here! If at home he would have added, ya big boob! |

Love how he liked to say Clarence in company. When mad like in Lost Watch he yelled for Clarence to come downstairs. ‘Doing my homework Daddy.’ Lumpy come down here.

Or the way he talks to him on the phone with so-called VIP Langley listening. Now back to your calculus, son. But I'm blowing out a carburetor, daddy.

Yeah, I think like that once in awhile.
In one episode (where Beaver is in trouble at school--what else is new?) June tells Ward, I'm meeting Marge downtown for lunch, and I have no way of getting hold of her. (Don't you have her cell number?) How did we make it thru those years? |

A lot of troubles that occur with the boys could be solved by having a cell phone. It certainly makes life easier to have a cell.
Hey in One of the Boys, Bessie, the flirt, mentions how Rick Davis is a real doll. Doll? She needs an eye exam right quick. Rick Davis was the usher when Beaver snuck Gilbert into the movie. I thought Eddie was especially embarrassing in this one and thought he might get on the ground so a Baron could walk on him. |

Neither of those Barons looked like teenagers. You're right, I didn't know which was which but neither of them looked like a "doll" to me.
Hey isn't Mr. Hill from Yard Birds also Mr. Compton? |
