Default Boone - a One Season Drama from 1983 that Seems Like it Should Have Been More Popular
This one season flop was based on the early life of Elvis Presley, and my primetime directory also said it was Waltons-esque. NBC aired Boone in the slot where Little House on the Prairie had been for years after it ended, Little House fans must have gone over to Scarecrow and Mrs. King on CBS. Maybe if Boone had a different title like Elvis it would have done better.
