anyone ever heard anything about LITB episodes ever being aired out of the order in which they were filmed???

I'm not sure this is what you are talking about, but it was mentioned here once that the opening episodes of Season 4 were shuffled around at their original airing. "Beaver's House Guest" was apparently supposed to be the first episode of the season, and "Beaver Won't Eat" was supposed to be later, but this was reversed.

Yes they are aired now out of production number order. Years ago in local syndication episodes were always shown in production order. TV Land popularized showing the episodes in the order the original network showed them.

I think they should be shown in production order, since that is what the producers intended.

For LITB, the production numbers can be found on the Wikipedia on the Seasons episodes list on Wikipedia.
