I got a new computer for Christmas from my nephew. I can't figure out how to transfer the pictures I downloaded to my old one; onto the new one. My sister

told me "probably the easiest way is to transfer them to the cloud ". What exactly does that mean? And what the hell is "the cloud"?

You can also use a USB flash drive or Thumb Drive and transfer your pictures that way.

I know what a USB flash drive is but what's a thumb drive?

A Thumb drive is a generic term which refers to a USB drive or a pen drive. On the other hand, the Flash drive is a plug-and-play portable storage device that uses flash memory, aka non-volatile memory to hold data. It has no movable parts. ... You can plug a thumb drive directly into a USB port.
