Best: In my opinion, I say Laverne and Shirley is the best slapstick comedy around. (Only Happy Days ranks higher on my list of favorite shows than L&S) Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams did some incredible physical humor. Examples, the change of bed when the girls are volunteer nurses. Another is when Shirley teaches Laverne to drive, which goes wrong. Of course, I have to give I Love Lucy some credit, because some legendary episodes had plenty of slapstick. Examples: The freezer, the vitametavegamin, the candy factory, etc. (No explanation necessary) In short, L&S and Lucy may be a tie among best slapstick sitcoms.
As for worst, I really haven't seen one yet, although I can't stand Gilligan's Island. |

Come on, it all started with I Love Lucy, not to meantion seeing a FEMALE do slapstick. Thats like amazing for the 50s. I Love Lucy is probably the biggest classic show ever and its known for its SlapStick physical humor! You gotta give it to them'
Gillians island!i dont like that show. They said they were the show with the most reruns shown ever and that is soooo not true! Ugh they couldnt do it if someone put a gun to their head. They might of been able to pull it off, but they never had the expression close to I Love Lucy. Gillian was so stupid you really didnt care about the slapstick. I say its called "stupid Clumsiness" before Humor! Best~I Love Lucy Worst~Gillians island |

Best: I Dream of Jeannie
Worst: Get Smart (I like this show but I didn't think that the slapstick comedy was funny) |

I have to say I Love Lucy. Lucy was brilliant at Physical comedy...well I guess she should've been because that was the showcase of her performance.
