John Larroquette In New Orleans (Part 1)

Like I've mentioned before in previous posts on here, John Larroquette was born and raised in New Orleans and grew up in the French Quarter.

He moved to California in 1972, and has since returned to Louisiana a couple of times since then.

One of those trips where he returned to his hometown was for a movie called Camera Store in 2015. The movie stars John Larroquette as a salesman named Ray.

Here is what the movie is about:

Ray and his salesman Pinky are trying to make it through the biggest shopping day of the year, again. Two decades ago, their camera store was a thriving neighborhood business. Now, they barely keep the store alive for their wealthy, amoral, and absent boss, Mr. Bibideaux. With the arrival of an old friend, Ray gets word of a big change coming to the business, and he must act immediately to save himself from the sinking ship before he loses the little chance he has for a better life.

In April of 2013, John got his honorary doctorate from the University of New Orleans.
