Thumbs down N@N Cartoon Marathon--What's up with that?

I get in bed last night and turn on N@N for my usual Cheers, Family Ties, and Three's Company fix.
Instead, I got some stupid cartoon marathon. Yeah, just the thing adults want to watch.
I hate N@N.

A special just for that night. I posted that info a week or two ago in the General Sitcoms Board.

I didn't find it special at all, lol. I think it was a poor time slot for a cartoon marathon. I changed the channel faster than the speed of light.

I noticed that there was a "big marathon" too, & I didn't like it either. I ment to post here last night & ask why there were cartoons on N@N. Did N@N think little kids would stay up all night & watch cartoons? Yeah, I'm sure a lot of parents would let their kids do that!

FIRST of all, it wasn't Nick at Nite, it was Nickelodeon. They did it because it was the "longest day of the year." Which technically it wasn't because it was still 24 hours long, it just stayed light out longer, but yea.

I don't know what you're all moaning about! If you don't wanna watch cartoons then just change the channel.
I don't even know what "Nick at Night" is. In the UK Nickleodeon stops broadcasting at 10PM.

What I'm *moaning* about is the fact that the station that carries my shows (Nick at Nite), replaced those shows with a cartoon marathon.
This message board is for discussing what's on our minds, isn't it?

Jeez, sorry man! I didn't mean to upset anyone.
All I'm saying is - "if you're not happy then just change the channel". They're not going to be showing cartoons every night. Just watch someting else untill the schedule goes back to normal.
I didn't mean to annoy anyone but it p#sses me off when you Americans moan about what's on TV. You guys get to see everything - TV shows, movies, music videos - before the rest of the world and yet you still complain about the stuff that's shown on TV in the States.
You guys don't know how sweet you have it!

Sorry, I'm a b*tch today. The thing is, at 1am, there's not much else on.

On Nickelodeon? Nothing. Just a blank blue screen saying "programmes begin at 6am".

Yeah, Mossop! I agree with you! The Americans don't know how great they have it when it comes to programs on TV. I would love to see Family Ties, Silver Spoons, Happy Days, Facts Of Life, Laverne and Shirley and all the other cool 80s and 70s shows here in Canada. But, we have nothing! Nada! Zip!
