The Same Year

The last thread by me on this page was one that was alerting the public about something that was going to be on METV the next afternoon. Well, at six o'clock tomorrow morning, there is also something on that channel that sparked my interest and that pertains to "Gimme a Break!". You see, the first episode of this show that I ever saw in its entirety was the "Emergency" and I was twelve-years-old when it was broadcast. The thing about this episode that really caught my attention was Nell's interaction with the little busy body on the hospital pay phone. I really fell in love with the "your purse, your, purse" line! Shortly after learning how to use the internet, I looked up the episode and learned that the actress who played the woman on the phone was Hazel Shermet. I learned that this was the second of three times that she made a guest appearance on this show. She also made two guest appearances on the "Facts of Life". Her second appearance on that show is from the third season and is called the "Green Eyed Monster". This episode of the "Facts of Life" was made the same years as the "Gimme a Break!" episode called the "Emergency". In any event, "Green Eyed Monster" is on at six o'clock tomorrow morning. One thing that I would say holds true about just about everything that I have seen our friend Hazel in is that she plays the part of someone who is very full of herself. What do other folks think?
