Well, you actually saw Diane working. I think that Rebecca is my favorite, people wise. Diane was a little....um....weird. but I like that fact that she was intelligent and well educated. She just didn't need to be so snooty about it.

Talking REBECCA! REBECCA! RAH! RAH! RAH!

Diane got on my nerves but she did do more work. I liked Rebecca much better but more so when she was dippy than the tough businesswomen when she first came to the bar. Rebecca was funnier and she made me watch the show unlike Diane she turned me off from the show! Rebecca only ever carried around the cigar box with receipts. Carla always would bring up the question of what Rebecca really did at the bar. Nick at Nite had that marathon for the barmaids but should have done an online poll like they used to do for events in the past!!

Carla worked her ass off. Diane was always leaving early, coming in late, but at least when she WAS there, she did something. If I recall...

Diane: "Sam, I'm leaving for a bit."
Sam: "Thank you for coming in at all."

LMAO.

So, yes, Diane was a more diligent worker than Rebecca, but she pampered herself in the meantime. All Rebecca did was stand there and whine about how she wasn't rich and would never be rich because Robin was poor and she was just the stupid manager of a "stupid bar" and she was married to a plumber, blah, blah, blah.

So many complain about Diane's pious nature being annoying. I find much annoyance in whining. It's one of my biggest pet peeves (though I've been known to do it now and then). To me, Rebecca's character was weak, and I don't find that an admirable quality. Diane, on the other hand, was strong and standed firm in her beliefs. She had character. And that's about as valid a point I'll make at this wee hour in the morning.

Lilith: I mapped out our dominant and recessive traits on a genome square, applied Mendel's laws, allowed for anomolies, and concluded that you are the best biological choice.
Frasier: I see. Well, enticed as I am by your honeyed words, I'm gonna need some kissin'.
Lilith: Frasier, don't misunderstand. I'm not proposing any change in our relationship.
Frasier: Would we sleep together?
Lilith: I thought we'd freeze your sperm.
Frasier: Is that a yes or a no?
Lilith: Natural fertilization isn't practical. I'd have to fly to Seattle every time I ovulate.
Frasier: Right, okay. So then, your plan is for me to visit some local doctor, freeze my essence, and then bring it home with you.
Lilith: Correct. I'll take mine to go!
