In 1990 Bounty Paper Towels introduced a series of commercials often referred to as the "I'm Sorry" commercials. And when I refer to these commercials as I'm Sorry commercials I am not making a mistake but Bounty used Brenda Lee's classic song I'm Sorry for these commercials. The commercials are really cute with kids singing a cute cover of the Brenda Lee hit while they show how Bounty really cleans up spills. These commercials were a really cute idea to market Bounty Paper Towels that I wonder if they asked Brenda Lee for permission to use her song I'm Sorry and she was given a huge money check for her effort. I'm Sorry is Brenda Lee's most known hit and I was surprised to hear it in a commercial

Hi, Bestie! Brenda Lee is one of my favorite singers, so I remember those commercials. Has she sang in any other commercials? Also, it is almost that time of year that one of her biggest hits gets played EVERYWHERE! Can you name the song?

Yes, Brenda is a fantastic singer! I can’t believe she was only 13 when she did”Rockin Around The Christmas Tree”.
