Default Finally, someone called out Jackie!

It’s about time!!!!!! She DID make Roseanne miserable. There must be some gag order about not mentioning the character of Andy because Darlene had the perfect opportunity to call out the fact that Andy is never around.....

Darlene nailed it. She has definitely made some mistakes, but these are the mistakes of an adult who's grounded in the real world and eventually learns from them. Jackie is a complete flake, and she's only gotten worse with time.

Dan asked Darlene to get Jackie and Becky to show up at Thanksgiving so they could reconcile. They showed up, but not without making tons of passive-aggressive cracks at Darlene. Then Jackie, who was drinking, started going completely off the rails, first going after Louise (blaming her over an incident that happened in high school) and then attacking Darlene (saying she had bad parenting skills, slept around, and was a joke for thinking she could replace Roseanne as head of the household). Darlene then yelled at her that she made her mother's life miserable because she was a major loser who Roseanne had to constantly keep bailing over and over again. Jackie was so angry that she slapped the crap out of Darlene.

Meanwhile, Harris decided to move out of the house and live with her stupid pothead friend, who everyone learned is living alone.

Eventually, Darlene decided to give Becky and Jackie The Lunchbox, because everyone else said that they didn't care about the inheritance money.

Oh wow!!! I really did miss a good one! That sounds intense ! Back in the day , I always looked forward to the Roseanne Thanksgiving eps., they were always really good. Glad to see The Connors is keeping up the tradition!

I'll be sure to catch it when it comes to rerun !

That’s funny. I don’t remember Roseanne ever supporting Jackie’s career discussions or her beating up Fisher after finding out Jackie was being abused.

It was also interesting that they actually mentioned Roseanne at all after a number of episodes where she was totally unmmentioned. Prior to this episode, I thought they were on track not to mention her going forward, as if she didn't exist. :-(

Well they are from a very dysfunctional family so I don't what else you'd expect. I'd be Jackie's friend but I would've never been a friend of Roseanne's. But then none of that really matters since it's a fictional TV show LOL.

The Jackie character is a selfish psycho. Remember how bad she screwed over Fred?! I really wish they would just write her out of the show or reduce her appearances. After Jackie slapped Darlene (30 years too late, but still great), I was hoping Harris kicked the sh*t out of Jackie.

I watched it yesterday evening and it was really intense.
Sitcom drama at its best.
