We may not know exactly how many countries have aired Laverne & Shirley, but it probably seems to be a lot...

This is probably a hopeless attempt at listing all the known countries that have aired it...

Canada (presumably)
UK (presumably)
Italy (confirmed, but with a modified ending, including theme song and silent Blue Paramount logo with the modified theme song playing over it)
France (presumed, it was known that both Penny and Cindy went to Paris in the summer of 1976, presumably to promote Laverne and Shirley to the French market)
Sweden (confirmed, Kanal 5 apparently aired this)
Japan (confirmed, dubbed into the Japanese language, most of the ending sequence gets played, but the Paramount Blue mountain logo was cut off)

I suspect that the true number of countries/foreign entities that have aired Laverne & Shirley is easily 50 or more.

I don't know if this is still the case but not too long after it started, it aired in Thailand with a special 'disclaimer':

"These women are from an insane asylum!"

Evidently, the Thai censors thought the show was funny enough to air but did NOT want the women of Thailand to emulate them!
