Aunt Clara on Bewitched collected doorknobs since Marion Lorne collected doorknobs in real life. What are other characters like this? Sitcoms and dramas only, no reality shows.

Attics Shaffer who played (Brick Heck) on the middle likes folk music and they aired it as his character also liking it.

Nolan Gould who plays (Luke Dumphy) on Modern Family plays the Banjo and his Character also played the Banjo.

Eve Plumb who plays (Jan Brady) on The Brady Bunch loves to draw & paint and there is a few episodes who shows Jan Brady loving to draw and paint.

David Ogden Stiers liked classical music and so did Charles on MASH.

Don't know if this counts but Jerry Seinfeld likes Superman and so did his character on SIENFELD.

Brent Spiner's a fan of Sherlock Holmes and so was Data on STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERRRATION.

Harry Anderson on Night Court was almost exactly like his character Harry Stone. They both were magicians and both liked Mel For me, also they were both named Harry.

David Hyde Pierce from Frasier played piano before becoming an actor and his character Niles also played piano.

Kirk Cameron from Growing Pains also played piano and his character Mike Seaver also played piano.

Jodie Sweetie from Full House was a dancer, and so was her character Stephanie Tanner.

John Stamos from Full House was a musician as was his character Jesse Katsopolis.

Dave Coulier from Full House was a comedian and played hockey, his character Joey Gladstone also did both.

Bob Saget from Full House played guitar and so did his character Danny Tanner.

Andy Griffith from the Andy Griffith Show was a musician and singer, so was his character Andy Taylor.

Jaleel White from Family Matters was a basketball player, and his character Steve Urkel could play as well.
