Default I watched two Rescue 911 eps, and...

...the two eps that had fire...where they had a girl taking care of her younger siblings and a babysitter watching over someone's girls...played It's a Wonderful Life on the TV.

Was this intentional? Did Mary Tyler Moore's production have the rights to this film? Now IAWL is owned by Paramount.

Sorry for the really late response, but, Rescue 911 is owned by CBS. The syndicated reruns are distributed by CBS and MTM. It was a low budget shot show, and It’s a Wonderful Life is in the public domain.

Was that the episode where a family's Christmas tree caught fire and they had to call for help to save one of the members of the family who was trapped in the house? My mom used to watch Rescue 911 because she liked rescue stories and also because of William Shatner. I also remember an episode where a baby was born on an airplane and they had a hard time saving him but the airline crew was able to save him just in time and when the plane landed the family named the baby after the city they were visiting. It's a surprise you don't see shows like Rescue 911 anymore because those kind of shows were full of excitement and heroic adventures and Rescue 911 should be rebooted again

Pluto has about 230 or so episodes of Rescue 911 on demand.

This one near the bottom titled Christmas Fire/San Francisco the first segment is when a Christmas tree caught fire while the family was in the basement. They were all able to get out on their own though.

[QUOTE=VHSReviver;6102295]Pluto has about 230 or so episodes of Rescue 911 on demand.

I did a count and Pluto shows exactly 250 out of the 300 hundred syndicated episodes. I’ve been hitting them about every six weeks about acquiring the original run since Pluto and Rescue 911 are both owned by CBS, or at the very least put the remaining 50 syndicated episodes on their platform. They fixed a few glitches I’ve emailed them about.

Do they ever get back to you with an actual answer? I contact them off and on about acquiring older seasons of Cops, and I always get a generic we will pass it along to our program director response.

My mom used to watch Rescue 911 because not only because of William Shatner but also as I mentioned in my earlier thread in this topic she liked heroic rescue stories and I must admit some of the episodes of Rescue 911 were pretty amazing and some had some sad endings. Did you ever see an episode where a guy that was a policeman couldn't sleep because he had bad visions of getting into an accident while working on the job but then his visions came true because while he was working at night his police car got hit and he had to go to the hospital for injuries in that accident?
