Well, I have 2 books that I really need to read so I can give 'em back to my aunt... they're both by Patricia Cornwell..."Isle of Dogs" and "Southern Cross".

I have to read two books. I'm going to read: The Color of Water and Almost a Woman. I've read parts of A lesson before dying, and it's pretty good, but the beginning is kind of borning.

I've got tons of books that I need to read and finish reading. I also plan to write stories as well. During the summer, writing is sort of my hobby.

I'm currently reading Jean M. Auel's Shelters of Stone, in her popular Earth Children series. Her books are so amazing and this one was worth the eleven year wait since the last volume was published! For a trashy beach read, I will be carrying along Lucky by Jackie Collins. And then of course there's In Excess, the ultimate trashy beach read!!!

I have to read four, but we don't get to pick which ones.

The Good Earth by Pearl Buck
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (I've been wanting to read this book for forever)
The Piano Lesson by August Wilson
An Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde

umm...

Kim Empty Inside (true story of an anorexic girl)
Divine secrets of the ya-ya sisterhood
cut (about a girl cutter who gets help)
the best little girl in the world (even though i've read it like 4 times, it's one of my favorite books)
the luckiest girl in the world (by steven levenkron, same author as the best little girl in the world...about a skater who turns self-abusive)
summer sisters (i read it once before, by judy blume. it's long but i read it in two days...the length just flys by and it's a reeeaaallly good book)

those are the books i chose to read.

then, i have to read some of these classic books for school.

rebecca (don't know who it's by)
and some other ones

then i have to read "AP World History In Review." how fun...the teacher said we don't have to, but since we'll start right when school begins it may help us. how...fun!
