Schmo Member Frequent Poster Join Date: Aug 24, 2013 Posts: 466	Network hopping Why did “FKB” hop from CBS to NBC then back to CBS? That seemed to be a sign that its ratings were mediocre at best, but the Wikipedia article about the series indicates it was a success. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_Knows_Best

stevea 22 Years On Sitcoms Moderator Forum Legend Join Date: Aug 13, 2003 Location: Indy Posts: 44,494	Sponsors owned shows back in the day. Maybe a sponsor (Scott Paper was a major one for FKB) was shopping for a better deal.
