I recall an episode of Alice where some muscle men lift an entire wall of Mel's Diner off of the ground. That would probably be it for me.
Second for me would probably be any episode of a sitcom where a character is involved in a look alike contest of the actor that the character is played by. |

It was really silly, but Arnold was so cute! The whole show had a lot of ridiculousness in it, but it was really hilarious! ![]() One of the most ridiculous plot lines in a sitcom that comes to mind is drab, frumpy Eva Grubb on Gilligan's Island, after a makeover turning out looking EXACTLY like Ginger Grant!! ![]()

Well not ridiculous exactly but it is odd to me. Houses that have two stairways going up to the second floor of the house. I know the Tanners' house on Full House was like that and if I remember so was the Seavers' house on Growing Pains. There's probably some more sitcoms that had a house like that too but those are the two I can think of right now. I'm not saying there aren't any houses that are like that but I know I've never been in a two story house that had 2 stairways going up to the second story (they've all had just one including my family's house when I was growing up) so I can't imagine that it's that common but I don't know.

As were most of the houses in my neighborhood. Most bigger old houses have front and back stairs I always thought?

It's not like that extra staircase made anything more convenient for them...especially when Sam could just twitch and be up or downstairs in a half second. ![]() It seems each season they drastically changed the decor of that kitchen. |

"Laugh-In" wasn't a sitcom, but for pure weirdness, I doubt anything can top this, not even Tiny Tim:
