YAY! It's coming back! I'm so happy! Okay, I'll shove my happiness over for a second: I am very glad the show is coming to Hallmark Channel, and I think there should be a topic where we can reflect of the news. Like, what's your favorite episode? When did you first see the show? Stuff like that. We'll just come here and talk about the new arrival of FOL!
Well, I'm so VERY happy that it's coming back, I'll record it everyday! 2 years ago, this was my favorite show! I first saw it when it came to N@N, I must say, I hated it at first! But, I guess I matured into liking it or something. I began heavily watching it, and couldn't stop! My favorite episode would have to be The New Girl and it's tied with Growing Pains. This show is what Natalie said about Jo in my favorite episode! "She's a breath of fresh air, isn't she?", but FOL is "It's a breath of fresh air, isn't it?". I hope that didn't sound corny! Well, come and reply! |

The first episode I ever saw was Out Of The Fire. I was flipping through the channels and saw it on there, so I decided to watch it. My dad came in the Living Room and told me what it was all about. I was hooked.

The first episode I saw was Rough Housing. It was when they were having the first marathon way back in September of 2000. When I saw the commercial for the show, I was like "Another dumb show added to N@N's lineup.
I watched a couple more eps and slowly got into it. Then when they all had to move into the room under Mrs. Garrett's supervision, I loved it! Still one of the best episodes. Unfortunaley, I moved in November of that year, so the last ep I saw was Out Of The Fire. So I hardly rememeber anything about the show. Except the Chug-A-Lug, when Tootie meets that hooker in NYC, Graduation, EE's, and a little bit of OOH. I'm so glad I can see it again and fianally know why i like it so much. ![]() Natalie was my favorite because she always seemed so true to herslef and determined to get to that goal. That's what I like about her soo much. ![]() Blair I love because of her vanity and snobiness. She could make you think you're lucky you're not rich. I'm not making fun of Blair karli, I swear. LOLtootie I liked becauise she was so adorable in the first season and was always the voice of reason throughout the show, except where she begged and pleaded to go to the Jermaine Jackson concert. Then I thought she was being a bit brat. ![]() That leaves Jo. I thought she was a good charachter and that she made me like the show better and made me appreciate the other characters a little more. But I never really liked her. I don't know if it was her accent or her punkness, but it wasn't just her. She was good. ![]() And of course Mrs. G was probably the best element to the show. You had 4 girls at a boarding school, but that would have never worked alone. You needed an older role model to be there and that's what balanced out the whole show I think.

I told my friend that it was coming back and shes like "how did I know you were going say that?" *she doesnt like it much....evil* |

I dont know what the first episode i saw was. I had just gotten a tv in my room, and i was doing homework and talking on the phone and turned the TV on and started watching it. I wasnt obsessed back then, but soon, it was like, DONT CALL ME DURING THE TIME 8 to 9! Yeah...anyways...I'm glad for those fortunate people who actually GET Hallmark that you get to watch FOL!

Here is my FOL tale...
Ok, so I actually originally watched FOL during the marathon I believe. I just flipped to Nick at Nite and decided to see what this show was about. I'd seen commercials for it and was curious. I began watching Episode 2: Like Mother, Like Daughter (I think that's the name.) My mom told me what little she knew about the show. As I watched, I thought this show was pretty dumb, and so I changed the channel before the episode even ended. (Don't hurt me. I must've been delirious or something. )Then, later, my sister came home from college. She and her friends were talking about FOL and even singing parts of the theme song because they had watched it a few times. My sister told me to watch this show to "see how bad it was." So, my sister and I watched Episode 151: Concentration. Oh, my goodness, I love that episode. It got me hooked. By the end of the episode we were both crying. It's almost amazing that I loved the show after watching that episode because I didn't really understand anything about the situation etc. I was wondering if Andy was someone's brother. I didn't know until later that Bailey was Blair's sister. I didn't have a clue where Jo, Nat, and Tootie fit in and why they were all together. Oh, I love my Facts of Life!!! |

The first episode I saw was Down & Out In Malibu 1 & 2. It was so hilarious! Beverly Ann, Jo, and Blair were what got me into the show. I was disappointed to see that Beverly Ann was only in for 2 seasons. She was great to the show, they should have added her sooner.

The first episode I saw completely, all the way through was "Green-Eyed Monster" with Tootie in the play.
My dad came in and I was like "Dad, I'm learning the facts of life!" and he just groaned and left. lol. After that I watched it every nite, sometimes w/ my mom who enjoys FOL more so than my other TV obsessions. Before I got into it tho, I remember turning on N@N and seeing FOL on almost every time and I remember getting annoyed b/c they showed it so much! lol. I wish I could say the same now...
