Default 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

With November a month away there's nothing better than spending Thanksgiving watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and it appears that the 2019 parade will be new and improved. From what I learned about the parade this year so far there will be some new balloons making their debut for the very first time including Astronaut Snoopy Smokey Bear and Green Eggs And Ham and a new Spongebob Squarepants balloon. I'm glad Macy's finally stepped up their game with the parade this year and when it airs on Thanksgiving it is sure to be great

I don’t know who the celebs will be; for me the favorite part of the parade are the marching bands.

I Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving to me is what Halloween is to Fleet!

I'm watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade right now and i'm noticed that out of all the singers that have appeared are mostly R&B singers like Ciara and The Black Eyed Peas and I think they should have more country singers and more pop singers rather than R&B singers. Also I noticed that the theme song has changed from New York New York to On Broadway and I don't know what caused them to change their theme song because New York New York was the historic anthem of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and I don't know why On Broadway became their theme now. I hope the parade does get big ratings and not go downhill

I love the Macy's Thanksgiving parade! I put it on the TV every year! Even if I am very busy preparing for company I have it on to hear in the background and take a break and sneak a peek at it. This year a very small quiet gathering , so I have time to bundle up and actually watch it which I'm doing now as I'm having coffee. It is very cold and raining here !

My favorites are the floats and marching bands !

I would improve the ending of the parade by having Santa Claus speak and say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays or even Happy New Year because I have always felt that the parade should make Santa's arrival more exciting because when Santa Claus arrives all that he does is wave his arms like he's being picked to be a contestant on Let's Make A Deal and it shocks me that Santa should have a speaking part since he's the star of the finale. But I'd say the parade has some amazing balloons this year

I watched the final hour of the parade. It was what it was. I'm never been a really big fan of the parade because there would always be musical acts I never heard of. This year there was Chicago, Lea Michele and a couple of others. I may not follow there music or know there songs but at least I heard of them.

I dunno I like the Parade ending just as it is. But maybe a lot more people feel the way you do. Suggest it to Macy’s. The Parade is not static and has changed bit by bit over the years.

I thought this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was impressive. But there were some things that could've made the parade better,
1. Why were The Rockettes dressed as reindeer? Though the reindeer outfits were cute I would've had The Rockettes dress in Santa outfits. Whoever thought The Rockettes would look cute in reindeer outfits is beyond me
2. When Idina Menzel appeared why did she sing a Christmas song? I would've thought they would make her sing Into The Unknown to promote Frozen II
3. How come the Astronaut Snoopy balloon came first after Tom Turkey? Because I always thought the new balloons would come later in each parade
4. I thought it was weird that they showed clips of the balloons that couldn't appear in the parade and they should've replaced the two missing balloons with the Olaf balloon and the Aflac Duck balloon in their spots
5. Did Macy's change announcers for the parade this year? Because I noticed that the announcer wasn't that great and he lacked excitement
All and all it was such a great parade to watch this year

Hi, bestie! I agree with you about the Rockettes. Their legs were too dark and you could not see them. Without legs, the Rockettes are nothing. My favorite balloon was the NASA Snoopy. My favorite float was Coach.

My favorite part is the Rockettes but I agree that their reindeer number wasn't great for the parade.
