Garrison, who died this morning in a West Virginia hospital, reprised his role of Tommy for a Season 2 episode in which Johnny Lawrence reunites with his old buddies on a camping trip. "Our entire Karate Kid/Cobra Kai family is devastated by the news of OG Cobra Rob Garrison's passing," tweeted Cobra Kai co-creator Jon Hurwitz. "He was a truly gifted performer and an even better man. My heart goes out to Rob's family during this difficult time. I'll never forget how moved the entire cast and crew was by Rob's brilliant and heartfelt performance by the campfire. I'll also never forget the laughs we shared later that night over beers as the gang told stories, including some gems Rob had from the set of Iron Eagle."

I always liked his character in The Karate Kid. He was the one member of Cobra Kai with a heart. Yeah he was a dick in the beginning of the movie. Later on you could see he didn't wanna do it.
