During their popularity in the 60's The Monkees promoted Kellogg's Cereals during commercial breaks of their show because Kellogg's was the main sponsor of The Monkees. Though these commercials do not air in the METV airings of the Monkees "though I wish METV had chosen to air The Monkees show intact with these commercials" they are very comical and cool for commercial fans and The Monkees. The first commercials had The Monkees singing the Kellogg's commercial jingle,
"KE Double L O Double Good Kellogg's Best To You" There were many versions of these commercials but these are some of my favorites. The next product The Monkees promoted was Kool-Aid with Bugs Bunny and these Monkees commercials are so cool and had them singing the slogan "Make Friends With Kool-Aid". Another interesting thing about these commercials is that Peter Tork is absent in some of these Kool-Aid commercials but the remaining Monkees continued to star in the Kool-Aid commercials If you are a Monkees fan take a look at these cool commercials because they are worthy of watching Bestie |

Hi, Bestie! That is a good idea of yours! They should show vintage commercials on METV. The old commercials were great! You should contact METV about this!

That is a wonderful idea and i'm mighty glad you have thought of it. Speaking of The Monkees Kellogg's commercials did you know that one of The Monkees first commercial promotion mail away items that they did for Kellogg's was a set of puppets based on The Monkees and is considered to be one of the most sought after commercial and The Monkees merchandise and if you have the complete set it is worth a lot of money. But worth it for a commercial fan and a The Monkees fan

Hi, Bestie! No, I didn't know that. The Monkees were very big in their time. I wonder what is the most collectible Monkees item?
