LOL I guess Nancy auditioned to be a model in Pretty Babies. Clearly doesn't know Sue Ann was the smart one of the show, and thinks she and Cindy are interchangeable since Blair called Sue Ann thunder thighs. Cindy Brady? Me thinks he was watching The Brady Bunch when he wrote it. Clearly this guy only watched Running, Flash Flood, and The Little Chill.

I think he watched those episodes and Pretty Babies. You caught some of the mistakes, Lorimar (Thunder Thighs and Brady), but there are plenty more!

(I don't regard Nancy wanting to be a model an error, since she did try out in PB... except perhaps an error of omission, all things considered...).

I love how there are more mistakes than "Facts". Priceless.

Boy, would Mr. Gideon be FURIOUS with this guy.

But then the book's title would have changed to "Teacher Busted in Cocaine Raid While Giving Eastland Student an Abortion!"

(Seriously, how did she stay on so long as the school paper editor?)

The Reunion was the episode where George asks Blair to be his date for his high school reunion, not TLC. I have a silly question, forgive me guys. Cindy's name is Cynthia?? I don't remember this, I only remember that in season 8 she became a model and changed her surname from Webster to Baker

True, but in "Pretty Babies", she does try out modeling for Jonathan Dutton. (He's looking for someone younger).

We never heard the name Cynthia, only Cindy. While it's possible that was her name, it does not appear to be canonical, and it would be a little confusing, because we see a character named Cynthia in another episode.

Yes, where are you getting "Cynthia"? The only "Cynthia" is the girl from the season 2 episode "Breaking Point". Cindy has always been "Cindy".

As for her surname, I think we're just supposed to give the writers of "The Little Chill" a pass on that, because Cindy is (sadly) the only girl whose surname was never mentioned in season 1. So the writers of TLC had nothing to go on, so, I assume, they thought they could just make up whatever they wanted her surname to be, and did. Those writers, by the way, had nothing to do with season 1. TLC was their very first FOL script.

But Julie Anne knows Cindy's surname was Webster, so I'm assuming she was listed that way in the credits on a script or scripts.

Great comments! I am not getting "Cynthia" at all; that is pure Vincent Terrace! And it would be too confusing, because Cynthia dies, and because we really don't need yet another Emily/Steve(n) situation.

If the writers of TLC watched the episodes, as you say, they wouldn't have come across the last name Webster, so it seems like a reasonable mistake on the writers' part. But I wonder why/if Julie Anne didn't mention it to them herself, since she obviously knew in 2006 during the DVD interviews (and later).

Maybe because she'd been so out of the acting game at that point that she felt insecure about "correcting" them?
