While doing some commercial research I discovered a commercial from 1987 for the Chicago based supermarket chain Jewel. The commercial was made to promote the just introduced Jewel Super Coupons of the 80's. What intrigued me about this commercial was when it starts the music used in the commercial sounds like something you hear on a news broadcast or a game show bonus round. According to what I learned the music in the Jewel commercial was used for a news station in Chicago when they would have teasers or breaking news so I was shocked to learn this. So I wonder how Jewel was able to use the music for this commercial? It's a shame that supermarkets today do not use thrilling music to promote big sales because this commercial proved how to attract supermarket shoppers to big deals

Hi, Bestie! I never sqaw that commercial, but I have seen Jewell Supermarkets. Do you think they are still in business?
