TV show audience tickets - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have a One Day At A Time audience ticket, one for Sydney, one for Cafe Americain (and one for when Valerie Bertinelli guest hosted Fridays). But no matter how hard I try I can’t find anything for Hot In Cleveland. Do more recent shows still have paper tickets, or is it all electronic lately?

WOW! you brought back another memory bribe from my book signing meeting with "Cuddles Cooper"!

Besides the DVD I made her of her afterschool special (Charles Dickens", a custom music video to the monkees "Valerie", her Merv Griffin appearance and many more, I gave her an original TV ticket to ODAAT in which she also replied she had none!

As for your question yes in the 80's and 90's every galleria in LA (mall) had free ticket booths for the taking, sadly yes the art of having an actual souvenir ticket from a series is long faded. I can't confirm that HIC had tickets but since it was a TV Land production, I doubt it, but know now as you said its all electronic.

I remember fondly going to the California booths and helping myself to a variety of assorted tickets.

That's what I figured about HIC. After 6 seasons and 127* episodes, and not one ticket ever appeared on Ebay, paper didn't exist.

*ok, 128 episodes, but I'm assuming the animated one wasn't "drawn live in front of a studio audience"

On 4 trips to S Cal (1998,2000,2003,2005) I was able to pick up tickets to shows taped at CBS TV City at a booth just outside the studio. I also picked up tickets for Jay Leno's Tonight Show for Mon., Sept. 11, 2000 (the last year that was a normal day) but didn't go that day, keeping the tickets for souvenirs. When I finally attended Leno's Tonight Show on Nov. 7, 2005 (Monday was my favorite day for his show, since he did Headlines then.), I had signed up electronically, so had no tickets before, but there were piles of tickets for souvenirs by the studio exit as we left, so I took 2 then to keep. I was also able to keep my ticket for when I attended Conan O'Brien's show on Sept. 22, 2006, and I may have been able to keep a ticket for a Dr. Oz show that I didn't attend in 2012.
