The same way the opening for Maude starts but in this case it was the 80's.

When Maude started the Twin Towers wasnt completed yet so I just thought it was odd you don see the Towers

It depends on where in Queens you are. I know you could have seen the twin towers in Woodside, Queens, but I don't know about Astoria.

Didn’t care much for most of the Alice eps- except for the Hay Leno one and very last starring Blanche the robot. Loved how she short-circuited at the end LOL

I am liking how there was only a brief appearance of stephanie in this first episode.
