Even though this show was a comedy, it had plenty of moments that made you want to bawl and hug whoever it is that made you cry.
Falling In Love Is, The Graduate, and Bye Bye Biki are my top three, but the two that complete my top five are A Christmas Story and The Break In. Because of Balki's decision to even come to America, the beautiful precious had already seen the last Christmas with his main family members and there was Larry losing it over his having to miss one, the little crap! Because one of my most favorite singers isn't here anymore thanks to a self inflicted gunshot wound, how The Break In episode ends gets to me too. God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. Steve Sanders of the Oak Ridge Boys is who I wish was still here. |

I will admit that I did feel bad for Larry when he talked about his dad's two cents when a 96 test score was brought home from school during the second half of the Father Knows Best episode. Mr. A in my opinion needed a good kick in the...well you know.

Last night I watched the season seven episodes when we get to see Balki's mom. I cried when Balki says to Larry before going back to Mypos, "Tell Mary-Anne and Jennifer that I did not mean to make them cry."

Larry ruining Balki's getting to meet Wayne Newton is another clincher for me. I don't blame Balki for saying to Larry, "I don't want to be seen talking to you right now."

I loved this show too and, all the episodes you mentioned. One I remember is when there was an avalanche and they got stuck in the cabin and had to dig their way out lol.

I've seen every episode at one time or another and never once did I ever come close to thinking I was gonna cry. The show is a farce FCOL.

I want to smack Larry when Balki says near the end of the season two episode named The Unnatural, "You're not going to put me in, are you?"
God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. If Larry had let Balki take a shot at the plate earlier in the game, that final situation never would've happened. |

Another sad moment is when Balki has to say good bye to the dog that him and Larry take care of in the season two episode named Dog Gone Blues.

I know that the Beautiful Dreamer episode in season two is supposed to be funny and in some areas of the installment, it most definitely is, but when I hear Balki call out to his mama when finally asleep, I just want to put my arms around him and never let him go.

Off the top of my head one of the scenes that got me was when cousin Larry was talking about how great a person saint Balki was and if he knew about anything good and pure in this world was because Balki showed it to him.

Now stop that Balki would step in and say that cousin Larry has a great heart. He just gets these greed highs. We all need a Balki to pull us back from the pit of despair and show us how great we really are. Remember the episode where the guys and girls were playing the board game and Balki had to reveal something terrible about cousin Larry? he said that Larry doesn't give himself enough credit for how great he is.
