Showtime is in dire need of improvement - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have noticed that Showtime is slowly going downhill and I think that they're trying to copy HBO and I think Showtime needs improvement in order to survive. Take for instance when I look at their lineup they show movies from the 80's and 90's like National Lampoon's Vacation from 1983 to My Best Friend's Wedding from 1997 and Pulp Fiction from 1993 and I wish that Showtime would focus on the new movies that have just been released like the new remake of Death Wish or Rocketman rather than showing retro movies. A second thing I wish Showtime would do is show kids movies and have kids cartoons because if there's one thing Showtime lacks is kids movies and kids love movies and if Showtime would have a channel that has kids movies and original cartoons it would be huge. What I also think is making Showtime lose their audience is that they are focusing on live comedy specials of many comedians/comediennes such as Howie Mandel Jerry Seinfeld Lewis Black and Wanda Sykes and boxing matches and other sporting events and drama series. If Showtime doesn't change their image and improve I can predict it will go belly up and go broke in a few years

Showtime's fine. There's plenty of other places to go for children's movies and newer films.
