Default Iconic '60's TV shows Ripe for Remakes, Reboots, and Revivals

At least according to Obsev[dot]com:

https://www.obsev.com/entertainment/...aignid=2377919

To many of these, I'd have to say NO!

However, I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of "F Troop" starring Harrison Ford as Sgt. O'Rourke, Christopher Marquette as Captain Parmenter, and Dove Cameron as Wrangler Jane. I couldn't guess who would play Corporal Agarn or many of the other characters.

"That Girl?" I still remember some Brenda Song fansite suggesting she would be perfect for such a remake. I suppose that's not so hard to believe.

"I Dream of Jeannie." Well, despite the fact that she's not a blonde, I have to remind some of you of this;

I really wish we could all make comments on that article.

I think it would be tough to do Jeannie or Bewitched because they’re so iconic. And of course, the Andy Griffith and Dick Van Dyke shows can’t be done either.

The one I think you could redo is “The Fugitive” because it has such a great concept and hasn’t been rerun to death, so memories aren’t as strong. But they already rebooted it 20 years ago and it only lasted a season (even though it was well done and deserved a longer run).

Speaking of The Fugitive revival, it was the first show that ever lead into CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. CSI almost didn't even get picked up to series. Then CSI hitting big paved the way for lots of crime dramas to do well on CBS, including my favorite from the 2000s decade Without a Trace.

This is an incredibly stupid idea! Haven't there been enough reboots and remakes of classic series as it is? And how have those turned out? I say enough already!

Nobody in Hollywood knows how to be original and they mainly market towards menlenials and Z generation who never saw the originals.
