This is the episode when Theo had a bag of practical jokes and gum that taste like DIRT?? How the hell what dirt taste like? Theo gave Vanessa a piece of the gum and her response was........."Yuck it taste like dirt!

Maybe Theo or one of her older sisters had pinned her down and made her eat dirt at one point.

Theo's parents (and grandparents) staged multiple musical numbers in their home, completely emptied his bedroom in a couple of hours to give him a taste of the "real world", had five kids living with them, each with two beds in their bedrooms, staged a funeral for a goldfish, had an exterior of the house that was four floors but only three floors inside, and you think the dirt gum was unbelievable?

Just sayin'. Feel free to poke holes in whatever you like. To me that seemed more realistic than many other things. You can smell soil, and since our sense of taste is partially our sense of smell, I don't find it too far-fetched.
