Who is the oddball in this list and why?

Ted Worden

Ken Langley

Mr. Parker

Captain Drake

Mr. Thompson

The key to this one is Eddie. He worked for Mr. Thompson at the gas station when he quit school, Mr. Parker at the pet store, Langley as a parking attendant, Worden at the dairy.

He almost worked for Drake but didn't take the job.

That is the correct answer. He never actually reported to work to fish for Captain Drake. It was a job he didn’t want. Excellent!!

Yeah, it was too hard. I wouldn't want it either.
He thought he was going to bring his fancy suite, for when they go into town.
