Does anyone know the brand of
beer Archie drank? Or was the
bright yellow can just a prop?

I think it was just a prop, but I'm not sure.

On the show where Archie's chair was broken and in the museum, the collecor asked Archie what he used for antiquing and he said Schlitz.

They always use the same TV beer, Archie's was a yellow can with a red zigzag stripe, tis has also been used on Mama's Family, Married with Children, and Sanford and Son. It looks like they are trying to do a knock off of the old brand Olympia or maybe Coors.

The other kind the use is a blue *or sometimes red can* with white symbols on it that simply says BEER. It looks like they are trying to make it look like Bud-Weiser.

I had understood that whenever they drink alcohol in a movie of TV show that it is colored water or soda pop.
