Adam Scott to Host ABC Game Show "Don't" from Ryan Reynolds

ABC has one word for Adam Scott: "Don’t". The "Big Little Lies" and "Parks and Recreation" actor is set to host its upcoming game show that counts Ryan Reynolds among its executive producers.

Here’s how we play our game: Contestants have the opportunity to team with their family and friends for the chance to win a cash prize of up to $100,000 by tackling tasks each with the simple rule of "Don’t". In each episode of the comedic physical game show, members of the four-person team will strive to accomplish various challenges — such as “Don’t laugh,” “Don’t blink” or “Don’t look back” — as they work together to build their bank.

“I’m very excited to be the host of ABC’s new game show Don’t,” said Scott. “As a fan of both ‘games’ and ‘shows,’ I feel we may be onto something here.”

No premiere date is set for the series.

ABC's "Don't" Cancelled after 1 Season

The Adam Scott-hosted ABC game show "Don't" has been cancelled after one summertime sampling.

Following a solid-for-summer debut, "Don’t‘s" June-August 2020 run averaged 3 million weekly viewers and nearly a 0.6 demo rating (in Live+Same Day numbers). Among the game shows ABC aired last TV season, it ranked No. 4 in the demo (besting both To Tell the Truth and Match Game) but last in total audience.

This show sounded awful and so I never bothered to watch it. But then again to be fair, I don’t like these shows and not a “game show” fan.

I’m glad “Don’t” did not work out on ABC, good thing I decided not to watch each episode

Oh man that's too bad I really liked it. Although Ryan Reynolds' voice over commentary was usually annoying and rarely funny.
